Submission Invitation of The Essence Exhibition Area of the China-South Asia Expo (Dali) International Photography Exhibition
Since 2009, the Dali International Photography Exhibition has been successfully held for ten editions. In 2026, the Dali International Photography Exhibition officially joined the China-South Asia Expo and Kunming Import and Export Commodities Fair, and was renamed as the China-South Asia Expo (Dali) International Photography Exhibition, becoming an important supporting event of the China-South Asia Expo and held concurrently with it. To prepare for this edition of the photography exhibition, we are now inviting submissions and exhibitors from the public.
1. Call for submissions to curators and photographers both domestically and internationally.
2. The submission period starts from the date of this announcement and ends on May 15, 2026.
3. Call for Photos
(1) The works focus on the humanistic customs, folk culture, and natural scenery of South and Southeast Asian countries, as well as the cooperation achievements between China and South and Southeast Asian countries in various aspects such as economic and trade cooperation, cultural exchanges, and infrastructure construction.
(2) Please provide small images of the exhibiting works. Electronic small images must be in jpg format and not exceed 2MB.
4. Registration method
(1) Please follow the official website of the China-South Asia Expo (Dali) International Photography Exhibition at www.dipephoto.com, as well as its official account.
(2) Please download the exhibition registration form according to the exhibition category on the official website and the official account's "Call for Submissions and Exhibitions Notice", following the guidance provided in the "Download Method of Registration Form".
(3) When submitting the registration form, the entire file must be named as the author's name; the file name of the work must indicate the country + region + work title + author's name.
5. Submission of Materials
Please send the registration form, a description of the works in both Chinese and English, a preface in both Chinese and English, the author's resume in both Chinese and English, all the small images of the works to be exhibited, and one large image (with a length of 3500 and a resolution of 300dpi) to be included in the album to the submission email of the China-South Asia Expo (Dali) International Photography Exhibition:dipe2026@163.com.
6. Selection Notice
The work review team of The China-South Asia Expo (Dali) International Photography Exhibition will review the works and notify the successful selected authors by email in the order of registration before May 20th.
7. Exhibition Rights and Benefits
(1) Exhibited works have the opportunity to be selected for the "DIPE International Photography Exhibition Chairman Alliance 'the Belt and Road' International Photography Exchange Exhibition" and published in a catalog.
(2) Exhibited curators and photographers will receive certificates of participation issued by the exhibition, and will be invited to participate in the launch ceremony, public welfare photography lectures, photography art exchange and sharing, and collection ceremony of archived works during the 2026 China-South Asia Expo (Dali) International Photography Exhibition. They also have the opportunity to participate in overseas exhibitions, study tours, and creative activities organized by the DIPE International Photography Exhibition Chairman Alliance.
(3) Free collection of exhibition-related materials such as the catalogue (1 copy per person) and guidebook of the China-South Asia Expo (Dali) International Photography Exhibition.
